Task:
Performing production logging in artificially lifted wells required to use Y-tools or jet pumps, and running wireline PLT tools at the same time. It was expensive, high risk operations with multiple runs of various plugs. Therefore getting inflow profile for wells with downhole pumps had always been a challenge for operators.
Solution:
The RealFlow Dynamics is hanged below the pump, above each perforation interval. It composed of impeller for flow measurement, capacitor to measure water cut, pressure and temperature sensors. It is practically PLT tools above each perforation internal continuously measuring inflow.
Result:
The project was successfully implemented and given to operator flow rate from each layer for more than 2 months and counting.
The benefits of using our dual extraction layout
We proposed using an alternative Flow Master technology for ORE wells. This arrangement is simple technologically, inexpensive to purchase, and reliable in use and data acquisition.
Flow Master is a geophysical device - a flow meter with a moisture meter. By positioning on individual layers, the device allows for measuring the inflow from each individual layer. The data is transmitted to the surface in real time. The customer receives information not only on the total fluid flow rate, but also on water cut, pressure, and temperature.
