Reduced flaring Well Testing with BoostFlow

The deposit: Central Uriktau

Task:

The operator’s objective was to avoid flaring unstable condensate. Traditional options — condensate stabilization columns or storage tanks with heaters up to 120°C — were ruled out due to high cost, diesel intensity, and HSE risks.

Solution:

 BoostFlow was used to pump unstable condensate directly to the facility via a temporary tie-in, operating across the full range from 0 to 100% GVF.


Result:

Key Results:

  • 9,400 bbls of unstable condensate recovered instead of flared
  • Pressure boosted from 0.2 barg to 40 barg
  • Zero incidents, zero NPTBoostFlow proved to be a field-ready, safe, and cost-effective solution for appraisal well testing.

With this technology, ABSS is capable of delivering zero-flaring well testing, where both oil and gas are pumped back to the high-pressure production line — reducing emissions and maximizing value.
